Forswear It, Sight

Forever alone,
But my home
Is somewhere far away
And from that day
I can never get there
It is always out side of my reach
And no matter what anyone says
Or what they seem to teach
And preach
I am
Forever alone
In the most extreme sense
Because the past tense
Is Now,
Eternally
And I am here
Forever
Alone
With no direction home
Til a dog with a bone
Bit me
Now he won’t let go
And I do not show
That I am forever
Without a home
And he won’t leave me alone
Though I tell him
‘Tis impossible nigh
That this love will die
But he says I can’t
Let go
And I throw
My arms around
My mortal love
