The Darkness Of Her Dream

The noise is deafening but something prevails
And every ship she sets sails
On the ocean of no return
But she fears the burn
Of incandescence
And my luminescence
Is painful to a point
I smile, it knocks her nose out of joint
In her perfect picture contain
She can’t stand the rain
That falls on the valley
And no alley
Is safe with her around
But the sound
Of brutality wipes clean
The darkness of her dream
