Why do you have to climb any ladder
Why can't you just be where you are 
The distance to your own sweet Self 
Could not be that far 
It is closer than close 
Close as a concept creates 
And your Truth is not to be found 
In any of the fluctuating states
So don't take a step either backward or forward
Just find the strength to stand still 
And all will be revealed like a secret unsealed 
Done at the hand of God's will
